چکیده
Chrome salt utilization in tanning industry become spread over the world owing to its preferred quality leather industry. However, Environmental concerns of chromium have shifted interest current research metal-free and friendly processing options. Vegetable tanning, been proven be environmentally safe manageable, while producing good with similar characteristics as that tanned leather. So, objective this work is determine properties using vegetable materials from pods Acacia nilotica ssp tomentosa form powdered extract. Results indicated a significant difference skin. Chemical leathers by extracts are found quite normal. Tensile strength values skin higher than pods. On other hand, tannin extract produced greater elongation 44.39% compared powder which was 34.94%. This provides useful information on potential production for industries Sudan beyond.
